Streptocarpus Caulescens – Plant Only

Streptocarpus caulescens is an easy-care, flowering plant that is great for hanging baskets which makes them super popular and hard to find. It goes by the name Nodding Violet because it produces clusters of purple / blue flowers that sit on long, slender stems which arch over the plant making it look sleepy. The small, dark green, fleshy leaves are covered in fine hairs and are soft to touch.

• What to use me for: Great hanging plant for balconies or indoors 

• I grow to: 30-50cm high, 30-50cm wide 

• Where to place me: I like a bright indirect light 

• Watering conditions: Allow my soil to dry out between waterings. As a general rule give me a water once a week in summer and once every 2-3 weeks in the cooler months.  

• Soil Conditions: I like a well-draining potting mix

• My features: To make sure I flower lots give me a regular feed with a seaweed solution
