Microsorum Diversifolium is also known as the Kangaroo Fern. It’s a lovely Australian native fern with glossy green fronds that grow in irregular sizes and shapes – that’s where the ‘diverse’ part of its name comes from.
It’s a great indoor plant if you need texture and really suits an epiphytic set up such as a log or cracked rock. If you don’t fancy that, this fern is low-growing enough for a hanging basket or groundcover in shaded situations.  ÂÂ
You’ll need to keep an indoor Kangaroo fern in bright indirect sunlight and lay off the watering can until it’s dry. Read our guide to indoor plants if you need a hand.
