If you like a fiddle leaf fig you’ll love Ficus Longifolia ‘Sabre’. He’s a close cousin and we think he’ll soon overtake her in the popularity stakes.
Just like his cousin the fiddle leaf fig, Sabre is easy to care for and fast-growing but instead of traditional oval leaves, he’s showing off some slender dark green foliage with an elegant weeping habit.Ă‚Â
This classy Ficus makes the perfect indoor tree and a stand-out statement in any room of the house.
Water this guy when the soil has dried out and let him soak up plenty of indirect sunlight. If you’re stuck, learn how to care for your indoor plants via our blog page ‘The quick start guide: Indoor plants’
Be careful if you want to put him outdoors as figs can get very large with invasive roots in no time at all. He’s best contained in a pot!
