Ctenanthe setosa Grey Star
The Ctenanthe Setosa Grey Star is a slimline beauty with a reed-like appearance. Her silvery white leaves are etched with green veining and the leaves have purple-pink undersides. She’s a good-looking girl however you look at it.
Graceful and delicate, Grey Star will reach up to 90cms and creates a ‘look-at-me’ statement in any room that needs purified air and a burst of happy colour.
Ctenanthe enjoy lower light levels and suit an office desk, table top, or that drab unit that’s stuck in a corner. She also thrives in a shaded tropical garden letting through light to shorter plants beneath her slender stems.
Ctenanthe don’t like to be flooded out, so hold off watering Grey Star until the soil is dry on top. Learn how to care for your indoor plants via our blog ‘The quick start guide: Indoor plants’.
Oh, and in case you were wondering it’s pronounced tee-NANTH-ee. You’re welcome.
