Clivia miniata Belgium hybrid, commonly known as “Kaffir Lily” is a clumping plant, performing best in part or full shade situations. The rich green, strappy leaves make them an attractive plant all year round. The flowers are tubular, deep orange and clustered on short stems and create a most spectacular display. Ideal for under-storey planting, their most popular use is as mass plantings at the base of trees/large shrubs.Â
Belgium hybrids tend to have a broader leaf and a darker orange flower than Clivia miniata.
Clivias are always a popular choice for a shady spot in the garden – this is because they are low maintenance, low water plants and look fab all year round!Â
