Casuarina Glauca Prostrate ‘Cousin It’

Casuarina glauca prostrate is commonly known as Cousin It. He is a dense native groundcover apparently named after the famous Adams family character. This little guy will cascade and spillover rocks, steep embankments or retaining walls.

A super easy and dependable ground cover which will help stabilise banks and acts as a weed suppressant. Cousin It plants can be grown in most parts of Australia and can handle frosts and periods of dryness.

• What to use me for: To cascade over retaining walls, in a hanging pot or as a groundcover in coastal gardens 

• I grow to: 0.1-0.2m high, 1-2m wide 

• Where to place me: Full sun to part shade

• Soil Conditions: I am a pretty hardy little guy and can handle poor, boggy soils but do best in well draining soils

• My features: I can handle frosts and coastal conditions as well as periods of dryness
