Camellia Sasanqua Sparkling Burgundy

Camellia sasanqua Sparkling Burgundy  is a true beauty with big, pink peony like flowers that sit pretty against leathery, green leaves. It likes a full sun position with well-draining, acidic soils protected from wind and prolonged periods of frosts. The Sparkling Burgundy is a stand out amongst the others with flowers appearing bigger, later in the year and lasting much longer than other varieties.

• Where to place me: Full sun to part shade

• Watering conditions: Once established I need a deep water every two weeks or so depending on the heat.  In summer you might notice my new growth wilting during the heat of the day but with a drink, I should perk back up. 

• Soil Conditions: I thrive in well-drained, slightly acidic soil
