Bougainvillea Jamaican Red is a medium grower with striking red magenta-red flowers (or bracts). She is the sister plant to the Jamaican Orange, some leaves can appear slightly speckled with goldish-white. Jamaican Red will survive on low water levels and is relatively disease-free.
Bougainvillea is long-flowering and can be adapted for a wide variety of landscaping uses. Some of these uses include topiary, hedging, arbours and arches. Todays Bougainvillea has a great range in growth habit and height. Bougainvillea prefers well-drained soil and sunny position. The range of colours offers limitless combinations and a palette to choose from that would satisfy any landscape design.

Don’t tease or disturb roots but rather a water the pot well, gently invert and tap pot on the side of a hard surface so it slides out.
