Begonia Kotobuki

Begonia kotobuki is a striking plant with colourful, textured, heart-shaped foliage. The older growth is a silvery colour whereas the new growth is a deep pink / red colour. They can be used indoors or outdoors and love a humid, tropical environment. 

Begonias don’t love their leaves wet so try bottom-up watering, so they can take the water from the base of the pot upwards.

Try sitting your pot in a larger bucket of water for 10-15mins then let drain. 

He digs indirect filtered light, with no exposure to harsh avo midday sun.

He bears fleshy stems so he will hold water for longer periods of time so allow to dry out before watering.
