The Anthurium Small Talk Red
I’m the compact cute kinda thing! I’m an anthurium with perky, triangular coral-red flowers with cream spadix, arrow-shaped dark green leaves and I’d look tops on your plant shelfie if I do say so myself.
‘Flamingo Flowers’ are popularly used as a cut flower for their unique heart shape as l have a vase life of three weeks. I look great in a tropical garden setting as a border or for creating depth using layers in underplanting. I’m also ideal for container gardening and inside your home as a houseplant.
Please pop me in a sheltered position, avoid direct sunlight as I’ll only burn my leaves. Mulch and water regularly until I am established, usually around 12 weeks. Protect from frost and provide plenty of water during dry periods. Plant away from areas where children and pets play as the leaves contain a poisonous substance. Avoid contact with skin.Â
Feel free to water me with an organic liquid feed every 2nd watering, yeah I’d like that.
